Here’s a simple question: How well do you remember the target when you hit the ball?
Ask yourself this question the next time you play golf.
I have my students assign a number (arbitrary) on a scale of 1 to 10 on how well they stay connected to their target when they hit. They are usually astounded at how hard it is to do at first.
That’s because we unwittingly make the BALL the target. It takes practice to keep the target as the target.
Try it yourself the next time you hit the range. Look at the target before you swing, then assign yourself a rating number after the shot to indicate how well you stayed connected to the target during your swing.
See you down the fairway!
